Application Process

Guidance Notes

  1. Please read the guidance notes given on the Financial Awards page of the website, including the “More Information” link for other details.
  2. Applicants should be between the age of 11 and 24 years of age. Details of parental gross income are required for applicants under the age of 18, and those in full time education. Personal income is required for applicants over 18. If you are in receipt of any additional funding or have applied for additional funding you should also provide details.
  3. Grants can be provided to those in financial need to support their education, or, improve their access to education, for vocational training and development of skills, specialist tools and clothing, equipment, specialist tuition, outside visits and enrichment in sports, music or the arts.
  4. Ensure you have briefed the person providing your testimonial.

Completing Your Online Application

We recommend you assemble all your data before beginning the application process.

The online application form cannot be saved in stages. You must complete and submit the application in one action, providing and uploading information listed on the checklist below. Incomplete forms will not be saved or submitted to the Ewelme Exhibition Endowment.

Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory. Your application will not be accepted until all mandatory fields are completed.

Application Checklist

  • A short letter explaining the purpose of the course or activity, reasons why assistance is required and fund-raising plans – to be uploaded as an image or PDF.
  • If applying for equipment, tools, instruments or training, evidence of sourced lowest associated cost – to be uploaded as an image or PDF.
  • An email address of the person who will provide a brief supporting letter. This could be a teacher, tutor or supervisor providing opinion of need and confirming the grant request.
  • A passport-size photo of the applicant – to be uploaded as an image or PDF.
  • You are required to provide a short (50 words or less) reason for application, be prepared to enter this information.

Governors are responsible for ensuring grant award applicants are suitably qualified, under the terms of the charity’s governing document. Governors may need to investigate the personal circumstances of an applicant's parent or guardian. The personal data supplied on this form and other information relating to the application will be held securely. We may check information provided with appropriate organisations. Access to your personal information will be provided on request.
